Another Charity Hat

Last night, I finished up another charity hat for the pile. I’m up to three hats now, so I’ll probably take them in to be donated after I get up to four. The yarn I’m using now is Loops and Threads Soft and Shiny Ombre in the Circus colorway, which you can find at Michael’s. I had about half a skein in my stash leftover from some other long forgotten project, so I’m really enjoying using up some of the scrap yarns for these hats.

I also framed up the lakeside diamond painting last night. It’s now hanging on my wall at work, reminding me to slow down some and take in the beauty around me. I may be looking at it frequently this week since it’s been tough at work with quite a few deadlines looming.

Crafting can definitely help with keeping you grounded when you are being tossed around in the sea of crazy that is this world right now. It reminds us to slow down, breathe, and create.

Stay crafty!
