We are now officially into the last two months of the calendar year. I am still stunned that it is already October. Where did this year go? As part of getting to the end of the year, I have set a personal goal to finish as many WIPs as possible between now and December 31st. I was going through the craft room last night to look for a WIP and this caught my eye:
It has been a long time since I worked on this cross stitch. In fact, I have completed several other cross stitch projects between then and now and not picked this thing up at all. I’m not really sure why since I love the look of this project, but I can tell you that I have aged since the last time I worked on this project. I forgot how tiny the stitches were and I found myself staring and squinting trying to see where the next stitch went last night. I had been bugging my husband about how he was squinting because of his diamond painting, so I guess turnabout is fair play.
So, I’ll keep working on the dragon, but maybe not as much as I would like since it may strain my eyes. Anyone have a magnifier they really like that I should check out?!
