A Friday Afternoon Bonus – Weekly Crafting Tracker

Did you know that the holidays are coming? If not, I’m happy for you that you are able to avoid all the holiday commercials that have hit the TV, streaming, and the internet. As for the rest of us, the holidays can often lead to additional stress as we have family, friends, and other people come through our homes.

During this time of year, it is extremely important to remember to take some time for yourself. One of the ways that I do that is to make sure I craft every day. Even if it’s just one round on a sock, I’ll make sure to do something that is just for me.

I would recommend that you block out at least fifteen minutes for something that you love. In my case, and in the case of many of my readers, that means fifteen minutes of crafting.

Want a visual reminder to set aside time each week? Here’s a PDF download of my basic crafting tracker. Set yourself a goal of some sort, which can be as simple as craft every day, and then stick to it. Track your time on this sheet so that when you realize you haven’t taken any time for yourself this week, it may cause you to pause and breathe. And if the thought of trying to work one more thing into your day is too overwhelming, make your craft time something else, like taking a hot bath. The most important thing is that you just remember to take some time for yourself and not let others take that little bit of time away from you if at all possible.

I hope you enjoy this Friday bonus and have a great weekend!

Stay crafty!
