It was a nice, quiet weekend, which was much needed after driving to DC last weekend and then doing the whole conference thing for the majority of the week. I needed some down time, and I was able to get that this weekend.
On Saturday, the Sit and Knit got together and we had a good time eating yummy treats and working on various projects. I brought some dishcloth cotton to work on some random dishcloths since the cardigan is getting rather unwieldy at this point. After Sit and Knit, I came home and had an absolutely glorious nap, followed by cooking a very nice supper for me and Brian and then I knit on the cardigan.
Speaking of the cardigan, I finished the first sleeve on Sunday!
And I’m now working on the second sleeve and got a nice chunk done while watching the first half of the super bowl last night. It wasn’t much of a game, so I decided to go ahead and call it a night at my usual bedtime instead of trying to stay up to watch it. Valentino was perfectly fine with this.
