Plastic Canvas

Snow and Plastic Canvas

Yesterday we had a delay at work due to the snow that moved into the region. The first snowfall of the year is always a very pretty sight, but I’m not a big fan of the cold. So, I worked on some plastic canvas and curled up with the blanket the past two nights.

I am making a tissue box cover that will be a good winter decoration. I bought a kit off of Mary Maxim when it went on sale called Starry Night.

I finished the first side panel and am working on the second side panel. I still have some accents to do such as spindly trees and some outlining, but I like how it’s turning out.

My only concern is that this is going to be too short for the tissue boxes that we use. I’ll see what it does when it’s all assembled and I have a backup plan if it is indeed too short.

Stay crafty!
