Finished-

Paint By Number

Something Finished and Something New

Please raise a glass with me as I announce that the Star Wars paint-by-number is now complete.

A colorful illustration depicting iconic characters from a space-themed franchise, featuring figures wielding blasters, dramatic backgrounds of space and explosions, and a prominent villain in the background.

I swear, every time I do a paint-by-number, I say that I won’t do another one, but then a year later, it seems like one of these creep their way back into the craft stash.

A colorful painting of two characters, one sitting and the other standing, holding a blaster. The background features a dark blue and rocky setting.

I do like how it turned out, but I am also very glad that it is finished and I can move on to something else.

Hey, speaking of, I cast on for a new project! Yes, the sweater only needs a sleeve completed, but it is still going to stay in time out for the time being. I decided it was time to design a shawl.

I’m using some heavy fingering weight yarn that I picked up ages ago. It’s a nice merino yarn and I like the colors. I’m enjoying how they are playing together.

I’ll be sharing more updates on this as it grows. When it’s all finished up, I’ll likely be asking for some test knitters to make sure I have the pattern all written up properly, so if you’re interested in that, hit me up at leah at craftroomjunkie dot com! The shawl takes three colors and is a simple slip stitch pattern only working one color at a time.

Stay crafty!
