On Sunday, Brian and I hit the 127 yard sale in the afternoon, looking for random treasures. I actually found something!
This is a spinning chair. I was able to get this for $15, which was a really good deal on the chair. So, what makes a spinning chair, well, a spinning chair? See the thin back on it? That was designed so that you can do a long draw while using a spinning wheel. The three stool feet are arranged so that you can get closer to the treadles than you could if it were on four legs. It just needed a little cleaning, and it was good to go. Brian was kind enough to clean it up for me on Monday, so it’s now ready to be used!
