Sit N' Knit

Sit ‘N Knit Weekend

This weekend was the annual Sit ‘N Knit trip to the cabin at the Red River Gorge. We had a great time and enjoyed the quiet, the friendship, and the laughter.

A group of six people, including a woman taking a selfie, inside a cozy shop filled with pottery and handmade items.

We made our annual pilgrimage to Turtle Farm Pottery. We were given a tour of the kiln room and saw some pieces in process.

A woman sitting on large rocks by a river, smiling and wearing sunglasses, with autumn foliage in the background. Other visitors are visible in the background, some taking pictures.

We then went to Mill Creek Lake to spend a little time by the cascades that flow out of the lake. That was peaceful.

Four women gathered around a table engaged in a crafting activity, surrounded by snacks and art supplies in a cozy wooden interior.

And at the end of the day, we worked on the group craft, which was a diamond painting coaster. We each finished our weekend project.

About as fast as the weekend came around, it was gone. I’m always sad to leave, but it was a good trip with good people!

Stay crafty!
