Diamond Painting-

Sunflowers and Socks

You all know that I very rarely go for very long without a diamond painting project. Brian is still working on his snowman, and after I finished the bookmark project, I was looking for my next one. I always enjoy going down the clearance aisle at any store, and while walking down that aisle at Walmart the other day, I found two Diamond Dotz kits on sale for $5 that I couldn’t pass up. Brian had found two the week before that he picked up as well, so for $20, we have four kits that should keep us busy for a while.

The kit I am working on now is a sunflower sunset picture. This one will be a Christmas present for my mother-in-law more than likely since she likes sunflowers and always appreciates anything that is hand made.

I finished one of my travelling projects the other day as well; a pair of socks for one of my coworkers. I always have a pair of socks on the needles and usually work on them while at lunch or as a passenger in the car. These socks are made out of KnitPicks Felici yarn in the Speed Racer colorway. I’ve had this yarn in my stash for a while now, and when I was looking it up to link to it, I found out that the Felici line has been discontinued. They do have a new one called Felicini that is similar, but the stripes are much smaller than the Felici was. It kind of looks like they are discontinuing this line as well, so if you want to try some out, better grab it quickly!
