This weekend, we went to the first home football game at the university where I work. It was rainy and fairly miserable outside, but it was a historic game and we wanted to be there for it.
The rain kept some people away, but it was still a good turnout. I’m not one to just sit and watch things, so I brought my knitting with me even though I ended up not touching it.
The best part about the game was when my husband decided to put on an inflatable eagle costume and he ran around the field and other areas during half time since we didn’t have a half time show. He was definitely a big hit. Unfortunately the game did not go in our favor, but all in all, it was a good time and it was fun to be a part of the first football game on the new field!
