Finished Boneyard Shawl

In keeping with the finishing theme of this week, today’s finished item in the Boneyard Shawl that I started way back in June. It’s been sitting completed for some time now, but I needed to weave in the ends and get it photographed, so that finally happened this weekend (and photographed yesterday alongside the Emotional Support Chickens)!

The yarn is Oink Pigments and it is a very soft 100% superwash merino wool. I really like how this one turned out and the colors are certainly right up my alley.

To top it all off, it’s finally shawl weather here in Kentucky. It’s a very narrow band of time that exists in the beginning of fall when you can get by with just wearing a shawl instead of having to grab a sweater. I wore the shawl all day yesterday and I’m wearing it again today. I love shawl weather, and I’m certainly glad to have a new cozy Boneyard Shawl to add to the rotation.

Stay crafty!
