Well, I had every intention of posting last week, but within a few hours of posting, I started to get sick. Brian had been sick most of the week before and I really thought I was going to skip it, but it finally hit me. I kept getting worse as the week went on and finally broke down on Friday and went to the doctor where I was prescribed antibiotics for an ear infection, sinus infection, and whatever was starting to go into my lungs. Getting sick around the holidays sucks, especially when appointments are hard to come by because everyone is leaving for the holiday. But, after a few days of antibiotics, I am feeling much more human, and I will get back to the blog.
I got a lot of things done while I was under the weather. I’m doing a vendor market/craft show on Saturday, so I made up some inventory of little gift items. The next few days will be posts about what all I was making. First up, I made some little octopus toys since these always seem to sell well.

He was lonely, so he needed a friend.

Regina was not impressed, but it does take a lot of impress her. I made four of the toys and already had two get claimed, so I’ll still need to make some more before Saturday’s market.

If you’re in the Midway area and want to swing by, the market will be at Northside Elementary School from 10-3. It’s their annual PTO Christmas market, so swing by and come see what all I have out there and all the other vendors!
Stay crafty!
