I’ve pretty much been working solely on the dragon cross stitch when I’m crafting in the evenings. I have enjoyed working on this since it’s both a change of pace and a chance to finish something that has been lingering out there for a very long time.
I know it can be hard to see a lot of progress when you’re looking at very tiny stitches like this, but trust me, it’s coming along! I’m just about to the point that I can start working on the second half of the pattern which should go much faster than the top portion due to the wings only being in the top portion.
This has been very relaxing for me in the evenings, which is much needed. I also have started a new evening ritual where I brew a cup of tea around 7:30 and light up this little cauldron with wax melts I found at Walmart (I have other wax melt burners, but tis the season!) and then sip on that while stitching on the dragon until it’s time to pack it up and go to bed. I have been enjoying trying all kinds of new teas out right now. I’m particularly obsessed with a new one that I found via facebook, but I’ll post more about that on another day!
