Cross Stitch-

Stitching, Running, and Bottling

This weekend was a bit of a blur again. On Saturday, I went to meet up with the Sit ‘N Knit and we all enjoyed each other’s company, tried to figure out how phone technology works, and planned for our upcoming weekend trip to celebrate 10 years of being together. I worked on the dragon cross stitch while there and then worked on it some more this weekend.

On Sunday, Brian and I drove to Berea to run in the Spoonbread Festival 5k. Since Brian always wears costumes, I decided to join in on the fun and dressed up as a Spartan Cheerleader with him. If you have no idea who the Spartan Cheerleaders are, they are from Saturday Night Live and you can click here to watch a clip.

After a glorious nap when we got home, I got to bottling the various dandelion concoctions that were finished after steeping for over a month. I wound up with way more tincture than I can ever use, some vinegar, and some oil that can be rubbed on sore spots to help alleviate inflammation.

Once I got that done, I realized the weekend was pretty much over. Where does the time go?

Stay crafty!
