I mentioned yesterday that I had taken the time to pause and listen to my body, which I am very glad that I did. This morning, on my way in to work, I was struck by the beauty of the crescent moon and the planet Venus hanging out in the sky together. I decided to take a moment and just pause and soak in the beauty.

Sometimes we get caught up in the day to day hustle and forget to take time to pause. Remember that you are a source of peace in this crazy world, so by pausing to look at a flower, the moon, or even an ant, you help to slow things down and put the seeds of peace in your mind when there seems to be very little talk of peace in the world.
There is a simple druidic meditation that I love to use when pausing like this. It states:
Deep within the still center of my being, may I find peace.
Silently within the quiet of the grove, may I share peace.
Gently within the greater circle of humankind, may I radiate peace.

So in this hustle and bustle world where time is money and the emphasis is on how productive you can be in a day, take some time to pause and be that peace in the world. Without everyday people working on peace, I fear for what this world could become.
Oh, I did knit a bit on the new travel sock yesterday, so here’s the gratuitous knitting photo of the day!

Stay crafty!
