Norwex

Cleaning

I don’t have any new knitting or crafting to show today since I pretty much just plopped on the couch last night and watched trivia shows with Brian. Sometimes you just need a quiet night without anything else going on.

I did do some cleaning and thought I would share the results of one of the stains I was able to get removed. A couple of years ago when I was still dying my hair, I had a glob go flying and hit the door. I didn’t catch it until I was done applying the color on my hair, so I wiped it off as soon as I noticed it. Unfortunately, and you know this if you’ve ever used red hair dye before, it was on the door long enough to stain it. I tried cleaning it with clorox, magic eraser, and any other bleaching/cleaning agent I could try on the thing and it would not come off, so I gave up and there it sat for 2 years.

I decided I would try the Norwex cleaning paste since I hadn’t tried it before on the door. I’m honestly not sure what possessed me to grab that and try it, but try I did, and I was stunned.

With about two minutes of scrubbing with the paste and one of my envirocloths, the stain was nearly 100% gone. This stuff is incredible. They call it “elbow grease in a jar” and it really does act like that. So, I have now removed the stain that has been hanging out at the bottom of my bathroom door for two years! The cleaning paste lasts forever it seems too. I’m still using the same jar that I bought over four years ago and I’m nowhere near needing another one yet.

Delilah was not nearly as impressed as I was.
