Socks in the City

Hi, everyone! I’m back from the trip to the big city! It was fun, but I am very glad to be home and back to the quiet of our little part of the world.

While I could spend multiple posts going over all the things we did in New York, I figured I would just hit a couple of the highlights. First, I finished a sock while on the plane. While there for the rest of the trip, I finished the second sock as well.

I finished the sock just in time to look out the window and see the skyline appearing.

We had to do some of the touristy things, like take our picture in the airport!

We of course had to go see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway while we were there! And yes, we brought our house robes and ties with us!

I found a bar with a sheepy connection, so we enjoyed a drink there!

And before we knew it, time had come to fly home. I finished weaving in the ends of the socks and then started working on the next pair. And yes, I am wearing the same thing in my arrival and departure pictures. I happen to love my black cat hoodie, especially for traveling!

I’m still kind of recovering from the whirlwind trip, but I’m catching up on some sleep now!

Stay crafty!
