Yesterday, I spent the majority of the day having a film crew in our house to film an interview with Brian and me as well as shoot background footage that will be shown in the clip. I now have a whole new appreciation of how long it takes to film a movie since the four hours of filming will be turned into about a five minute clip.
The film crew was from the American Heart Association and they are doing a story highlight on Brian’s survival of a cardiac arrest event in 2023 and how he worked with his doctor, who is a grant recipient from the AHA, to be able to finish the same marathon in 2025. It was an emotional day as we both recounted what it was like to deal with what happened.
One funny thing happened though. While at a serious point in the interview, all of a sudden, Vanellope decided to sing the song of her people and meowed very loudly for everyone to hear. We all got a good laugh at that one. She decided she should be front and center!
