While wandering through the clearance aisle in Walmart this weekend, I came across a diamond painting of Starry Night that was on sale for $5. I decided I needed this in my life, so I picked it up and began working on it on Sunday while Brian worked on his giant land speeder Lego.
While placing the dots, I told Brian that I really do enjoy working on diamond paintings. I like all my crafting for the most part, but I really do find diamond painting to be very relaxing. It’s not quite as relaxing as knitting or crochet is for me, but I honestly think that’s just because of the location that I have to be in to work on the diamond painting.
With knit or crochet, I can sit on the couch and do that. For diamond painting, I find it easier to work at the dining room table. I think it’s even more relaxing for me because I tend to ignore the TV and just work on placing the little dots and watching the picture come into focus.
