Travel Sock

I worked on the travel sock some this weekend and yesterday during lunch. It started with about 1/2 inch of cuff and now is just past the heel turn.

The yarn is Spud and Chloe Fine Sock, which has a different texture than most sock yarns that I work with. It’s a higher twist ratio in the fiber I believe, so I’ll be curious to see how this wears over the years compared to some of my other go-to sock yarns.

The yarn is 80% wool and 20% silk. I’m used to using sock yarns that are made with nylon, so the silk is a nice addition to this yarn. I’m enjoying working with it quite a bit.

Stay crafty!

Lovely colour, and looks like a cosy texture!
