Knitting

Socks and Kitchen Towels

I was able to get in a little bit of knitting yesterday on the sock while on my lunch break. This week has actually been quite hard for me to get in any knitting time at lunch since my schedule has been rather crazy because of it being my first week back after vacation. So, when I got a few minutes yesterday, I took advantage of it and managed to finish a cuff.

Last night I pulled out a couple of books from my library and tried to figure out what to make next for a knitting or crochet project and just didn’t come up with much of anything. So, I pulled out a cone of Premier Home cotton yarn and cast on for a simple kitchen towel. I’m just winging the size and pattern, so when it gets finished, I’ll write up what I did for anyone who wants to make a similar kitchen or tea towel.

I like the colorway on this one since it reminds me a little bit of the waters and stones at Glacier National Park. This should be a very easy project to work on while sitting on the couch watching TV with Brian. I still need to figure out what larger project I would like to work on in the near future since I’m kind of in-between projects right now.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and stay crafty!
