On Saturday, I enjoyed sleeping in a little bit and then sat down to work on some smaller diamond painting projects that I had lined up. The first was a perpetual calendar kit that I found on a lightning deal on Amazon.
I fell in love with the design, and it was a very fast kit to make. I was done putting on the rhinestones within an hour.
I really like how this turned out. It’s now on my desk at work and makes me smile every time I look at it.
The second smaller project was a zipper pouch that I picked up at Walmart on the clearance rack. Sometimes Walmart will put craft supplies on deep discount depending on what they have in stock. I picked up this zipper pouch and one other for $4.50.
I’m not sure how well these will hold up given they are supposed to be used and not just looked at. I’ll be putting that to the test in the near future I believe.
So, I finished two smaller projects on Saturday while relaxing and trying to get some rest before the craziness of this week. I also did some work on a new knitting project on Sunday, but that’s a post for tomorrow!
