We picked up our new to us RV on Saturday at Walnut Ridge RV in Memphis, Indiana. We got our orientation, Brian practiced backing up, and then we were on the road to Lake Shelby. It was a bit of a white knuckle ride on the interstate since it was the first time we had ever pulled something of this size, but we made it safely and Brian got it backed in after a few attempts.
We spent the weekend doing fun things like kayaking and hiking.
We also enjoyed some downtime. I really enjoyed knitting in the hammock and spent the cool evenings swinging away.
When it was time to leave, we took the RV to its storage home about a mile away from our house. We are super tired since the mattress was definitely not what we would want (and yes, I already ordered a replacement for it after this trip!), but it was a fun weekend and we are looking forward to many adventures to come!
